Sambhar With Our Special Sambhar Masala

Ingredients


  • 1 cup split red lentils (toor dal)

  • 2 cups water

  • 1/2 cup mixed vegetables (e.g., carrots, potatoes, onions)

  • 2-3 teaspoons Nirmal Spices Sambhar Masala

  • Salt (Note: Salt is already present in Sambhar Masala, add extra if needed)

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions


Step 1: Cook the lentils and water in a pressure cooker until tender.


Step 2: Heat oil in a pan and sauté the mixed vegetables until tender.


Step 3: Add Nirmal Spices Sambhar Masala. Mix well.


Step 4: Combine the cooked lentils and vegetable mixture.


Step 5: Garnish with cilantro and serve with rice or idlis.
